The genesis of Mommy-Bling was in early 2006 by
Maryland-resident Kathleen Corley. With the birth of her first child she found
a glaring lack of fashionable baby accessories. Using her creativity and artistic
nature, she sought to fill this absence by developing a more glamorous way
to have baby’s items readily accessible.
And so it was the combined love of jewelry and desire to provide new Mommies
with something special (to make them feel “glamorous”)
that she designed Mommy-Bling.
Kathleen put it simply by saying that,
“Even if you are leaving your house in your sweats, hair pulled
back and no makeup, Mommy-Bling gives you something pretty to wear and makes
you feel good.“
Kathleen carefully selects her beads and silver findings as she handcrafts
each bracelet, paying particular attention to both quality and aesthetics.
Her color palette is primarily based on neutral tones, classic colors and
the latest trends in fashion.
